Webbie Find of the Week

Love "Choco Cake", and most of all "Leche Flan" or "Flan de Leche"... Since my sisters and me put up our business Crumbs 'n Jellies, we are searching different pastry, bread, dessert and likes to fill our menu but we not just copy it we do it in a different way to come -up with a new version of it. Upon searching the web my sis found this site  www.what4eats.com

it features different recipes from parts of the world.. But of course the dessert, sweets, cookies and pastries section we love...
Hope you try this one...

Recipe of the Week ( Garlic and tomatoes with basil in canola oil)

It is a famous recipe for being simple and easy to make this is my version of Garlic and Tomatoes in Olive Oil. Since olive oil in my country (Philippines) is somewhat expensive i substitute it with canola oil...

This one of the basil plant my sister is growing and i've already used some of its leaves in my cooking..

GARLIC,TOMATO & BASIL IN CANOLA OIL

Ingredients

400grams penne pasta (pre-cooked)
5 cloves of garlic or more depends on your likeness towards garlic minced
4-5 medium size tomatoes ripe minced
handful of fresh basil leaves minced
1/2 cup of canola oil
grated cheese optional
salt and pepper

1. Warm the pot. Use a large one so that its easy to mix them.
2. Put the oil then add the garlic if the all is already hot.
3. Sauté garlic for a minute then add the tomatoes and basil till it wither.
4. Add pasta and mix till it is all covered but if you think the oil is lacking you can add some.
5.Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
6.Than you can also add cheese.

The new Lucky Me Pares

This afternoon i ate the new Lucky Me Pares. I'm so excited since i am a fan of the pancit canton version but as i tasted it.. gosh!!! My first though of it was this one will never click... Somewhat sweet, but the "umami" feeling i get when eating the pancit canton is not there... So much for my enthusiasm

pair of earbuds

Being a music lover makes me an earbud buddy. Wanting to enjoy the rhythm  and letting it sink to my soul for a much more out of body enjoyment.
But having settled to a C rate earbuds is a wrong move. It never gives the quality the song was produced. Never last for a long time. Not practical since i'm always buying a new one.

A seed ascends around the turntable.

New Bloggie

Hmm... Actually its my first time blogging. Well the thing is since i'm good at meddling at other people's business (not in a bad way i know when to back off) give pieces of advice. To put things in a more clearer perspective i speak my mind so why not blog. Some people have them and make money out of it so why not i try it.
Maybe i'll be good in this gig...

Good Luck to Me!!! :)
